Education:

• Received Honours Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) from University of Western ON in 1995
• Completed clinical internship at London Health Science Centre 1996
• Registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario 1996
• Received the Certified Administrator certification from the Ontario Association for Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors. 2007
• Currently enrolled in courses at Ryerson University working towards certificate in Non-profit Management

Work Experience:

• Started career as Clinical Dietitian in Long Term Care sector.
• Worked most of career in operations management.
• Held position of Director of Nutrition Services at South Bruce Grey Health Centre (Walkerton), Kindred Hospital (Detroit), Sun Parlour Home ( Leamington.)
• Member of the St. Andrews’ team since October 2005 and have progressively assumed more responsibility starting out as Manager of Support Services moving to the position of Assistant Administrator and now as Executive Director.

Volunteer Positions:

• Member of Rotary Club of Chatham since 2007 and incoming Vice President June 2011
• Tri-Board member for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance

Personal:

• Married to Scott Barko, 2 children Jade (10) and Drew (8)
• Ralph and Betty Barry (parents)
• Moved back to Chatham in 2004 built home on Indian Creek Rd W
• No Hobbies to speak of (no time at present!)
